Facilitator. Leadership and Culture Coach.

Lori enjoys coaching others and specializes her work in two areas: Developing Leaders & Understanding and Developing an Organization’s Culture.

Lori has been coaching leaders for over 15 years—developing existing leaders and developing future leaders to assure effective succession. She has witnessed the value of coaching as an investment that pays off in terms of more effective, engaged, energized, empowered leaders and is excited to assist other leaders through the coaching cycle.

She is passionate about helping leaders understand and develop their organizational culture—their values, expectations and practices that guide and inform—that will lead to consistent and authentic leadership and improved results.

She takes a friendly and genuine approach to help leaders realize their talents, skills and passion in their own lives and in their organizations. She helps leaders shift their perspective to clarify professional values for their organization and their own personal values which provides them with a framework for goal alignment, strategic planning, problem solving and decision making.

In her professional roles as teacher, consultant, curriculum director, and superintendent, she has acted as a change agent, coaching individuals, and teams, to move from status quo to new ways of thinking; fostering growth and changing perspective and behaviors.

For fun, Lori and her husband, Jeff, own and operate a seasonal ice cream business where they spend their summer coaching teenagers in how to be successful with their first “real” job.

Lori holds a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. She also holds the Michigan Administrator certification, Michigan Superintendent Specialist endorsement and several other endorsements. She has served the education community for nearly 35 years and celebrates a 14-year tenure at a single organization in the role of school superintendent, developing new leaders and transforming culture.
